Research has uncovered an interesting finding related to the diabetes drug Metformin. Patients treated with the medication have improved gut baterica when compared to patients not treated with Metformin.

This would lead one to ponder if there could be an off-label use for the medication that would help gastrointestional patients. As someone with gastroparisis, I would be very interested to know if this would be a viable treatment.

I saw this on one of my Sjogren's Syndrome Support Facebook pages. Sometimes someone takes the words right out of your mouth. It's like they've shadowed you and decided to write about. This is one of those case. Props to the author and the support group for sharing this.
